Hey, you can't call my wife fat. That's my job!

You may have noticed that Syracuse fans can tend to be a little ... well ... insecure.

It's true. While we are famous for ripping on our own teams and pointing out our own flaws, the second any "outsiders" start ripping on the Orange, we immediately circle the wagons. Ron Morris knows a thing or two about that.

G'Orange
With that in mind, let's break down the most common complaints by Orange Nation. Have a better one that we missed? Put it in the comments.

1. "We should play more man-to-man."
Because, you know, Jim Boeheim doesn't know what he's talking about, and could learn a lot from your frequent rants at Tully's.
2.  "ESPN hates us."
Because it's not like ESPN has any positive connections to Syracuse in any way shape or form.
3. "The national media hate us."
Because being the college basketball team mentioned most by the top media outlets is always a bad thing.
4. "Pollsters hate us."
Because it's not good enough to receive 95 percent of the top votes in the country for six-consecutive weeks.
5. "No one can pronounce Syracuse player names."
This one's actually kind of true. Arinze Onuaku was a five-year player on a team that was ranked No. 1 in the country, and they could never get it right. And don't even get me started on Ryan Nassib. You know, sometimes ESPN and the national media are just so biased ... Pin It Now!
